Solidarietà e vicinanza dell'Ateneo alle popolazioni di Turchia e Siria/Solidarity and closeness to the people of Turkey and Syria
La comunità accademica dell'Università di Torino esprime profondo cordoglio e vicinanza alle popolazioni turche e siriane colpite dal devastante terremoto del 6 febbraio.
In particolare il nostro pensiero va alle famiglie delle vittime e a tutte le persone coinvolte nella tragedia ancora in atto.
Il messaggio del Rettore Stefano Geuna:
"come sappiamo dalle drammatiche notizie che ci arrivano da Turchia e Siria, le popolazioni di quei territori sono state colpite da un catastrofico terremoto che ha prodotto ingenti danni e numerosissime vittime. Vorrei esprimere, a nome di tutta la comunità dell'Università di Torino, piena solidarietà e vicinanza a quanti siano stati toccati da questa immane tragedia.
Con questo, l'Università di Torino invita coloro i quali intendessero offrire un aiuto tangibile alle popolazioni afflitte dal terremoto ad aderire alla raccolta fondi promossa da Croce Rossa Italiana in accordo con l'Alto Commissariato delle Nazioni Unite per i Rifugiati (UNHCR) e Mezzaluna Rossa di Turchia e Siria:

Solidarity and closeness to the people of Turkey and Syria
The academic community of the University of Turin expresses its deepest condolences and sympathy to the Turkish and Syrian populations affected by the devastating earthquake of 6 February. In particular, our thoughts go out to the families of the victims and to all those affected by the tragedy that is still unfolding.
Statement from the Rector, Stefano Geuna
"As we have heard from the dramatic news from Turkey and Syria, those countries have been hit by a catastrophic earthquake that has caused enormous damages and numerous victims. On behalf of the whole community of the University of Turin, I would like to express my full solidarity to all populations affected by this terrible tragedy.
University of Turin invites who would like to offer tangible support to the people affected by the earthquake to join the fundraising campaign promoted by the Italian Red Cross with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Red Crescent of Turkey and Syria:
